Project: A local York company runs Made2Manage for their ERP software, performing Customer Order, Materials, Production and Financial Management.  The paid for software maintenance but are several versions behind in software and hardware.  Their Exchange server and backup procedures are also out of date.

Hardware Solution:  Instead of purchasing one server today to upgrade their ERP and a second one later this year for Exchange, followed by a third upgrade for their file/print server next year, Willis Consulting designed a solution that uses one HP rack mount server with storage rack to virtualize their network.  Since Microsoft allows to virtual servers for one license, this also accommodated a virtual server to perform trial data conversions and a training server for the employee's at no additional cost.

Software Solution:  Willis Consulting dedicated one engineer to see the project to completion.  This guaranteed the project was performed timely and efficiently.  Our experience avoided some of the pit-falls that would have been encounter without the experience we have with SQL databases.

Training Solution:  As mentioned before, a virtualized training server was incorporated so that employees could train with real data without corrupting their original data store.
